Equestrian Ice boots for horses for recovery or injury.

Advantages of Ice Therapy for Horses.

There are many benefits of ice therapy after your horse has strenuous activity such as eventing. For decades athletes have used ice to help reduce inflammation for a quicker recovery.  We need to do the same when caring for our equine athletes. By reducing inflammation in the horses legs, specifically their ligaments and tendons will help prevent injuries. How do we ice the legs of our equine athletes? I'm glad you asked!

Some riders will fill garbage cans or buckets with ice and hope their horse will stay put. Some will wrap their horses legs with ice packs and duck tape. There has to be a better way. That's when the Drew Boot was invented.  Being able to ice the entire leg and be able to groom the horse at the same time is the way to do it!

The Drew Boot equine ice soaking boots are designed to soak the horse's legs from the foot all the way up to above the knee in ice and water; typically done after strenuous exercise.  It rolls up and packs neatly in small places, so no more heavy bulky boots taking up your entire tack trunk!  Velcro strap that attaches to both boots and goes above the withers is included, but not required for the boot to stand on it's own.

Boot is 28" tall and 8" in diameter. Sold in pairs, 2 boots with each purchase.

The Drew Boot is made from extremely durable vinyl (the same stuff as bouncy castles).  Each boot has a removable / replaceable foam pad on the base to provide cushion and durability.
